PUMPKIN STEM
Chain 2 onto the crochet hook with the color taupe.

Rows 2-5: work a single crochet into all stitches.
Finish with a slip stitch and fasten off, leaving a long yarn tail to sew your pieces together.
LEAF
Chain 8 onto the crochet hook with the color forest green.
Row 1: starting in the second stitch from the hook, work 3 single crochets, 1 half double crochet, and 2 double crochets. Continue working along the bottom edge of the foundation chain. Work 2 double crochets, 1 half double crochet, and 3 single crochets.
Fasten off, leaving a long yarn tail to sew your pieces together.
To join the pieces, sew the stem onto the center of the lid of the pumpkin, and then sew the leaf onto the base of the stem, with just 2 stitches the leaf will stay in place. And there you have it!
Now you just have to fill up your pumpkin with your favorite candy! Where will you put your pumpkin?
