Hi knitters!
Last Thursday we had so much fun in Donosti. We were invited by LOREAK MENDIAN’s staff to organize a knitting party at their store. After some knitting, tips and some chatting (and some drinks too) it ended up being the coolest party!
The good thing of the knitting parties is that most people coming don’t know each other when they get there, but once they are out they were able to meet new people with common interests.
Most of the knitters coming want to learn how to knit the WE ARE KNITTERS x LOREAK MENDIAN special ZAZPI SCARF kit. But there is space for everyone, so others brought other kits by WAK or their own things with them just to have some fun with us while knitting and purling some stitches!
Like the previous week in Barcelona, we had the chance to take a walk around the city and try its AMAZING food. We were very lucky to have a sunny and warm day. We were really looking forward the knitting party, but to have the opportunity to be on the beach just hours before was great!
In WE ARE KNITTERS we love surfing. There were lots of people surfing the waves…we were very envious of them we must say. Wish we had carried our boards with us!
There is another knitting party coming up next week. This time it will be in Madrid on November 29th, in the trendy area of Tribal (C/Santa Bárbara 4) around 8 pm. See you all next week guys!

¡Hola knitters!
El jueves lo pasamos muy bien en Donosti. LOREAK MENDIAN nos invitó a celebrar una knitting party en su tienda cerca de la playa de la Concha. Depués de haber estado tejiendo, compartir consejos, parloteo (y alguna que otra cerveza) resultó ser la party más cool.
Lo bueno de las knitting parties es que viene mucha gente que no se conoce de antes, pero cuando se van se alegran de haber conocido a personas con aficiones comunes.
La mayoría de las personas que vienen a vernos quieren aprender a tejer su kit ZAZPI SCARF de WE ARE KNITTERS x LOREAK MENDIAN. Pero hay sitio para todos, por lo que también hay knitters que traen otros kits de WAK o sus propias labores.
Como ya pasó la semana anterior en Barcelona, esta vez también pudimos darnos una vuelta por la ciudad y probar su deliciosa gastronomía. Tuvimos suerte porque fue un día muy soleado en el que no hacía frío. Teníamos muchas ganas de la knitting party, pero poder estar en la playa horas antes fue genial, la verdad.
En WE ARE KNITTERS nos encanta surfear, así que nos moríamos de envidia viendo a tanto surfista cogiendo olas. Lástima que no tuviéramos nuestras tablas con nosotros…
Tenemos otra knitting party preparada para la semana que viene. Esta vez será en Madrid el jueves 29 de noviembre, en la zona tan de moda de Tribal (C/Santa Bárbara 4) a eso de las 8 de la tarde. ¡Os esperamos a todos allí!
