Today we are sharing with you a mini tutorial about how to join a new yarn ball to your project.
This can be done in so many ways. The technique we are showing you is called felting. The WE ARE KNITTERS wool is perfect for this tutorial because of its excellent quality.
How do you do this? It is very simple: when you are about to start knitting with a new yarn ball, take the end of the old ball and the beginning of the new one. Wet your hands with hot water and rum them, placing them together as if they were only one. Because the WE ARE KNITTERS wool is a top quality one, these threads will connect perfectly.
There are other techniques to do this, like i.e. using special needles. By using these needles you’ll be able to pick up both ends and tangle them up. This technique is also felting.
